Burgundy and the Rhone Valley
(15 days) May 21 - June 4, 2022
NOTE: THIS TRIP IS FILLED; WAIT LIST AVAILABLE

Small farmers are still king in the mythical vineyards of Burgundy, where the world's most exalted Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grow. Walk the tiny lane between the vines of Romanee Conti and Richebourg. Stroll the beautiful streets of the ancient walled town of Beaune. Enjoy three-star Michelin French cuisine and meet winemakers whose families have been growing grapes here for over 500 years. Then follow the majestic Rhone river on its journey south past Beaujolais, the grape-lined hills of Cote Rotie and Hermitage, to Chateauneuf du Pape and Avignon, where we visit great vineyards and the home of popes in the 1300s.

Covid-19 note: All participants on Exploring Wine trips in 2021 and 2022 must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in advance of enrollment (including those who may have recovered from the disease).  All countries we will visit on our trips are expected to welcome only vaccinated tourists.
