Dramatic natural beauty everywhere - that's New Zealand. We start in the world's adventure capital, Queenstown, where we'll boat, fly, and drive to see the peaks of Milford Sound, the Remarkables mountains, the Dart River and more. We'll visit top wineries in Central Otago and Marlborough before flying to the North Island to enjoy the fabulous red wines of Hawkes Bay and then spend time with the native Maori people in their volcanic traditional homeland at Rotorua. We finish in sophisticated Auckland and the beautiful nearby wine island of Waiheke. 

Covid-19 note: All participants on Exploring Wine trips in  2022 & 2023 must be fully vaccinated against Covid-19 in advance of enrollment (including those who may have recovered from the disease).  All countries we will visit on our trips are expected to welcome only vaccinated tourists.
